How to Play 32-0
The goal
The 32-0 game asks you to do what only a few teams in history have done: finish a college basketball season without a single loss. You draft an all-time roster of five legends, one per position, and then a full season simulates. Win all 32 games and you have a perfect season and a national title. Lose even once and the streak is broken. That is the entire challenge, and it is harder than it sounds.
Step 1: Choose your draft mode
Before you spin, you pick a mode.
- Classic draft shows you the era and the candidate legends for each round before you commit. It is the more forgiving option and the best place to start.
- Blind draft hides more of that information, forcing you to commit with less certainty. It is higher variance and more difficult, rewarding players who know the pool well.
Step 2: Spin five rounds
Your roster has five slots, one for each position: point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and center. You fill them across five spins. Each spin reveals a college era and a set of candidate legends who fit that slot. You lock in one player, then move to the next position.
Because each spin surfaces a specific era, the choices you make early shape the eras you will want later. Leaning into a single era can pay off, while mixing too many can cost you, which we cover in the best era to draft.
Step 3: Use rerolls wisely
You get up to two rerolls for the whole draft. A reroll lets you throw out a spin you do not like and try again for better options. Two is not many across five rounds, so save them for the moments that matter most — usually a key position where the offered candidates clash badly with the roster you are building.
Step 4: Watch chemistry build
As you fill the roster, the game evaluates how your five legends fit together. Positive chemistry bonuses include combinations like Elite Spacing, Twin Playmakers, and a Dominant Frontcourt. Negative chemistry penalties include Usage Conflict (too many players who need the ball), Crowded Paint (too many bigs in the same space), and Poor Era Fit (a roster stitched together from clashing eras).
Chemistry is not a cosmetic score. It directly influences how your team performs when the season simulates, so a balanced five with strong chemistry will out-perform a collection of mismatched stars. The full breakdown lives in 32-0 draft strategy.
Step 5: Play the 32-game season
Once your roster is locked, the season runs. It has two phases:
- A 27-game regular season. Drop even one and a perfect run is already gone.
- A five-game single-elimination national tournament. Win all five and you take the title.
Add them together and a flawless run is 27 plus 5, or 32-0. That is where the game gets its name and why perfection is so demanding — the tournament games are win-or-go-home, exactly like the real bracket.
Share seeds and play the Daily
Every run is built from a seed, which you can share so a friend gets the exact same draft options and can try to beat your record. There is also a Daily Challenge, where everyone worldwide gets the same seed each day and competes on the leaderboard. Learn how that works in the daily challenge guide, and check the 32-0 glossary if any term is unfamiliar.
